WHY IT WORKS — High on the slopes of the Rwenzori Mountains, gorillas and leopards move through the same misty forests where this coffee is grown. The elevation and volcanic soil push the fruit character into overdrive: think ripe blueberry and red wine acidity wrapped around a dark chocolate finish. This is the first stamp in your expedition passport, bold, wild, and unmistakably mountain-grown.

If you love bold, wine-like acidity, start with Rwenzori Kasese from Uganda. For a floral, peach-forward cup, try Ethiopia Guji G4. If you want the most complex cup in the collection, Ethiopia Guji Dambi Uddo is your next stop. Kenya AB Lenana Plus is currently being packed for the expedition and will join the route soon.
