One taste of this on the cupping table and the decision to add this coffee to the offerings list was irresistible. We do not get opportunity, very often, to get excellent coffee from the DR Congo. So this was a must, although the supply was very limited, we got what we could so do not miss out. Order a bag of fresh roasted and at your door, while it lasts. This is a heavy bodied coffee with a bold but smooth aroma. The nuanced flavor of dark bakers chocolate and caramel are unmistakable as the cup begins to cool. There are shifting subtle but distinctive fruit/berry flavors as the cup settles. A bright acidity adds just the right zip for a nice, bold, balanced cup of coffee either black or with your favorite cream.
